Our Mission
Our mission at Mütercem is to make texts in scientific modern and ancient languages accessible. By combining translation, transcription, OCR and proofreading for articles, theses, reports and historical documents on one platform, we help researchers work without being held back by language barriers.
Our Vision
To become the leading platform in Turkey and the region for scientific translation and historical text transcription. We aim for a research environment in which every source, from Ottoman Turkish to Turkic languages and from ancient to widely used academic languages, can be read and translated.

All uploaded documents are protected with AES-256 encryption; TLS 1.3 protocol is used during data transmission.
Data Retention Policy
After processing is complete, documents are permanently deleted either immediately or after a defined period, based on user preference.

Our systems undergo regular penetration tests and security audits; identified vulnerabilities are closed within 24 hours.
